Jas de la Rimade Celebrates Its 40th Anniversary !

Discover the programme for our anniversary weekend, taking place on 25 and 26 July 2026 :

Saturday, 25 July

- 3:00 pm – Welcome to the garden of Jas de la Rimade and discover the educational sculpture trail, featuring several stages dedicated to the art of bronze sculpture.

Drinks and light refreshments will be available on site.

- 4:30 pm – Presentation of the educational trail through the creation process of one of his sculptures by Nicolas Lavarenne, accompanied by bronze founder Loïc Massa.

- Following the presentation – Live bronze casting demonstration by sculptor Claude Giorgi.

- 7:00 pm – End of the day's event.

Sunday, 26 July

- 3:00 pm – Welcome to the garden of Jas de la Rimade and discover the educational sculpture trail, featuring several stages dedicated to the art of bronze sculpture.

- 5:00–8:00 pm – Fresh pasta served from the "Pâtes Jessy" food trailer.

- 8:30 pm – Ticketed exceptional concert by double bassist Fabien Sevilla, performing his solo project "Rites".

- 10:00 pm – End of the event.

"Rites" – Fabien SEVILLA – Solo Double Bass

Renowned Swiss double bassist Fabien Sevilla will be performing at Le Jas de la Rimade to present his third solo project, "Rites".

During the naming ceremony of his second son, Fabien and his partner organised a small shamanic-inspired ritual centred around the four natural elements: Earth, Air, Water and Fire.

This experience proved to be a profound revelation and became the source of an entirely new artistic inspiration. It led to the creation of numerous performances directly inspired by the practice of rites and rituals. Through this new creative direction, Fabien explores spirituality through art, inviting audiences into natural, wild or unusual settings to experience a deeper connection with the elements.

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Le Jas de la Rimade is delighted to welcome Fabien Sevilla for the original version of this remarkable project. Set within the sculpture garden and surrounded by nature, this unique performance offers an immersive sonic experience where authentic percussion instruments—including animal skins, Tibetan wooden instruments, bells and gongs—blend with the rich sound of the double bass. Together, they create a suspended moment in time: a contemplative and deeply moving experience that invites reflection, wonder and a profound sense of well-being.

"Three Perspectives"

For this exhibition, the Galerie du Jas de la Rimade is delighted to present the works of three artists with vastly different universes. The exhibition proposes a disruption of scale, inviting viewers into a vertiginous experience that compels them to shift from the infinitely precise details of Sala’s ink drawings, to the close-up subjects of Gros, and finally to the sheer immensity of Tasic’s bodies.
