Graduate of the Nantes School of Fine Arts - Specialised in Engraving (1973)

About the work

"As for the prints, they represent a skillful union of painting and engraving: drypoint on a metal plate, imprints and traces of various materials... Then comes the wiping process, known as “retroussé,” which leaves on the plate an imperceptible film that will reveal all its intensity in these singular figures...
Appearances and disappearances — once again, Jacques Badeau plays with the in-between, and his ink-born ghosts take our breath away."
